Event Marketing Manager

The company:

A leading global provider of business conferences, events, and training programs, this company specialises in delivering knowledge-sharing platforms across various industries. With over 40 years of experience, it connects professionals from multiple sectors through innovative events and content-driven forums.

The role:
  • Developing creative marketing strategies for a leading portfolio, with full event marketing responsibility
  • Working across a variety of channels to identify new prospects and increase brand awareness including email marketing, social media, SEO and PPC
  • Take the lead in creating and managing long-term partnerships with associations and publications.
  • Preparing enticing and informative copy for full event life cycle, as well as reporting on success.
Requirements & Key Skills:
  • 3-4+ years’ marketing experience preferred, ideally gained within B2B publishing, conferences, events, exhibitions or a membership organisation
  • Have a proven track record of effectively managing marketing campaigns including email marketing, social media, stakeholder engagement, media partners, data management and analysis
  • Excellent copy writing across a variety of mediums
  • A data-driven and commercial mindset with experience in managing marketing budgets effectively and delivering ROI for maximum profit gain
  • Ambition to not only meet but exceed lead and revenue targets
  • Ability to work independently and manage tight deadlines as well as the occasional curveball, where needed
  • Ability to travel internationally when required
