The Role

This is a new business subscription sales role speaking to C-suite clients in the finance sector.

As a pivotal member of our sales team, your primary objective is to expand our market presence and enhance revenue streams both from new clients and within existing accounts. This role focuses on sectors including investment banks, law firms, and rating agencies, involving significant account management responsibilities alongside aggressive new business development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Actively expand our footprint across core market segments.
  • Manage and grow your client renewal portfolio, ensuring continued engagement and expansion.
  • Identify and capitalize on upselling opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing teams to ensure rapid follow-up on inbound leads.
  • Maintain meticulous records of all sales activities and client communications in Salesforce.
  • Forge strong connections with the editorial team to leverage industry insights in your sales strategy.
  • Provide weekly progress and insights reports to the Head of Business Development.
  • Target and secure growth accounts and scout for fresh business opportunities.
  • Achieve and surpass monthly new business targets.
  • Represent the company at industry awards and conferences to augment your new business pipeline.
The Person
  • Experience in B2B media sales and/or financial markets strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record in subscription sales and market intelligence or data management.
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently grow new business pipelines and achieve sales targets.
  • Dynamic, results-driven professional with a knack for developing new markets and strategic partnerships.
