Our client is a global leading manufacturing company based in the UK, looking to employ a qualified in-house Solicitor/ Legal Counsel with a focus on Intellectual Property.

Our client is a global leading manufacturing company based in the UK, looking to employ a qualified in-house Solicitor/ Legal Counsel with a focus on Intellectual Property.
The Role
Key responsibilities will be but are not limited to:
- Supporting Senior Legal Counsels with drafting reviewing and interpreting contracts.
- Supporting the Group IP and Licensing manager (and in-house UK and European attorneys) with drafting and reviewing a range of intellectual property agreements required to support the activities of the research and development team.
- Providing general commercial legal support and assisting the Senior Legal Counsels as appropriate.
- Being involved in projects with significant intellectual property focus.
The successful candidate will meet the following criteria:
- Be a qualified solicitor and have experience drafting and negotiating agreements in the field of IP for at least 4 years.
- Have an in-depth knowledge of UK and European patent, trademark, design and copyright laws.
- Demonstrate an interest in science and technology and can grasp important scientific concepts.
- Have exceptional communication skills.
- Demonstrate a passion for excellence and a willingness to take personal responsibility and ownership for achieving results and objectives.
