About the role
  
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our team. This individual will be responsible for driving revenue growth through the sale of events sponsorship and content/publication advertising deals to private equity firms and the broader ecosystem of service providers, including law firms, accounting firms, consultants, and technology providers.
  
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the private equity industry, a proven track record in sales, and strong relationship-building skills.
  
Key Responsibilities:
  
  • Ø Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to identify and target potential clients within the private equity industry and its ecosystem of service providers.
  • Ø New Client Acquisition: Proactively identify, qualify, and acquire new clients through research, networking, and cold outreach. Leverage existing relationships and build new ones to expand the client base.
  • Ø Account Management: Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention. Understand clients' business needs and propose tailored sponsorship and advertising solutions.
  • Ø Revenue Generation: Meet and exceed sales targets by securing sponsorship and advertising deals for Real Deals Media's publications, digital platforms, and events.
  • Ø Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify new opportunities and keep our offerings relevant and competitive.
  • Ø Proposal Development: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals that effectively communicate the value of partnering with Real Deals Media.
  • Ø Collaboration: Work closely with the editorial, marketing, and events teams to ensure alignment and maximize cross-selling opportunities. Provide feedback and insights to help shape product development and marketing strategies.
  • Ø Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status. Prepare regular reports on sales performance and market feedback. Effective use of Hubspot to track and monitor progress.
