Our client is a large Intellectual Property firm providing specialist IP legal services tailored to the individual needs of their clients.
  
The Role:

We are seeking a Trademark Attorney to carry out a range of trademark protection work, including:
  • Conducting availability search reports and advising on freedom to operate issues
  • Drafting and filing trademark applications, and handling all aspects of prosecution
  • Contentious issues - including opposition and cancellation actions, infringement and anticounterfeiting matters
  • Providing advice on other intellectual property such as designs and other intellectual assets, including advising on ownership issues
  • Portfolio management
The Candidate:
  
The successful candidate will meet the following criteria:
  • Be newly qualified - 5 years PQE
  • Have strong basic skills in drafting, filing, prosecution and searching
  • The ability to work independently and part of a team
  • Excellent workload management, prioritisation and time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
